Making a splash!

So Victoria's Secert has a sale going on that if you buy a bathing suit you get a free tote and since i'm all about a free tote (but really what girl isn't) I had to buy a few new suits.

Here are the suits:

So I bought this bathing suit with just the top and a basic black bottom. I'm more of a mix and match girl then all one color.

I purchased this exact suit, bottoms and everything. They also had the plan purple bottoms so I had to have them as well.

So I decided to get the top in the first picture with the pink and big dots and the bottoms of the first picture. I think the patterns will look really cute together.

The Game, finally!

Hey ladies,

I don't know if you guys watch the show "The Game" but some of us ladies have been waiting for it to come back for 2 years now and tonight was the premiere of the new season on a new network (B.E.T). While I am happy that BET choose to pick up The Game, I had my doubts that they would try and put their spin on it. Well, after watching it tonight I can say that my thoughts were true.

• Girl Melanie and Derwin: when we last left them they were getting married and Janay was in labor with Derwin's baby. Flash forward 2 years and mel. and Derwin have been married and live in a rather nice spread, way better then that apt. they use to have. Dj's (Derwin's son) 2 and super cute but really doesn't look much like Derwin. Melanie not being okay with the birth of Dj from the beginning takes a swab of his DNA and gives it to a MED friend to test. The results come back and Dj isn't Derwin's. Mel. tells Derwin which of course makes him livid. They go a few days without talking and this gives Derwin time to think and I guess look at Dj for himself. While watching Dj for Janay, he decides to ask her, when she comes home after buying the same bag Mel. has only in a different color if Dj is his son. Derwin finally comes back home to Mel. where he can finally bring himself to say, "He isn't my son is he". A few days later, Mel. gets a call from her MED friend telling her that she messed up on the first test and that Dj really is Derwin's son. When asked what the phone call was about, instead of telling Derwin the truth, Mel. lies and says nothing.
• Kelly and Jason: The last time we saw the Pitts Kelly was punching Tasha from introducing her then husband to his current girlfriend. Well, the Pitts are no more, the divorce is final and they seem to be learning how to live without each other. Kelly with her new reality show and Jason holding out for more money from the team. While she might put on a brave face and say that the divorce was the best thing that ever happen to her, Kelly, when she bumps into Mel. tells her that she needs to talk things out with her husband. Which is one of the things she feels would have helped her and her marriage.
• Tasha Mack: The last time we saw Tasha she was laid out on the floor from a one punch from Kelly. Well, now Tasha is now managing Derwin into the "Golden Boy" getting him the cover of "Essence". She also has a new man in her life, a younger man, which she sees as a "boy toy". But the young man would like to be more so he asked her to Malik's game release party, however Tasha isn't really looking for a relationship with him and declines. But once there, she sees that she wasn't his first "older women" and becomes insecure. Back at the house however Terrence (that's not his name on the show but I didn't catch it and that's what I know him as) lets Tasha know that his feelings are real and that he wants to make them official and Tasha agrees, she feels something for him as well.
• Malik Wright: I can't even talk about that ASS. He is an ass for sure, sleeping with the managers wife and really treating TiTi like his slave. I mean really, he's just a mess.

While i'm happy that The Game is back, I feel that BET really needs to bring the writers back. The way they are writing for these characters just isn't like the CW had them. I will keep watching, manly because I love this show.

The Best thing about New Years...the outfit!

Aldo Orpin (i'm in love with the color, they're my t-shirt and jeans shoes that i'm making my New Year's shoes. They actually don't hurt that much which is another reason why I chose them. They come in a tealie green as well that I have my eye on as well.)

Klitsch from Aldo (this shoe, well I already have a plan for them, they will be my t-shirt and jeans shoes, I can't wait)

Favorites for the year of 2010

So can you believe 2010 is almost over, did we all have a good year? I know I did, can't believe its over but such is life isn't it. I thought that I would take sometime out and list all the products that I reached for over the year the most. So here goes:

Makeup

Foundation: Me and my MAC Mineralize Satinfinish have been as thick as theives from the first time the girl put it on my face. I did want to try NARS Sheer Glow because some many people had been raving about it but that just never happen. Maybe in 2011..

Concealer: I'm currently using 2 concealers at the moment. Their both MAC however I just find myself liking the consistany I get when I use them both together. Their MAC Studio Finish & Studio Sculpt, i'm in the color NW 35 (which, funny story, is my actual skin color. The concealer matches my skin tone perfect, however I use NC45 in a foundation. Weird right?!? or is it, do you guys have the same thing going on...just a thought).

Powder: Well I don't know I can't function without my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark. I just goes on so smooth and it really does feel like i'm not wearing anything at all. That Mineralize Skinfinish line is a staple in my makeup routine, it's just really light and at some point I just really don't like a lot of makeup on my face (or at least the feel of a lot).

Blush: MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul, I bought it in the spring for a nice flush of color but not to much and just can't seem to keep my hands away from it. It's an DO EVERYTHING blush and a really good inversment.

Bronzer: I'm not a real "bronzer" kind of girl. I mean yes like everyone out there I have my own NARS Orgasm/Laguna duo(I actually got my hands on one when it first came out.....I'm talking to you NAKED palette) but I would say I've used it maybe during the winter months just so I don't look too pale(that's right, some black dolls get pale too).

Highlight: NARS Albatross, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Perfect Topping & MAC powder blush Honour.

Eyeshadow: I have loved and will always love MAC Mulch e/s, it's so my "go to" eyeshadow. But I have also been reaching for the MAC quad Colour 4, its got really great gold and bronze colors and thats pretty much what I like putting on my eyes. I find it really brings out the gold in my eyes. With that said, this would be(if I had it) where I would say that the NAKED palette is also getting a work out. But I was very snooozzing and well now I'm lossing. WHEN are they going to get more in stock...I really need this palette, i mean it came out in the summer for crying out loud....wow, that was not a good color on me. Sorry you dolls had to see that. Back to the list!

Eyeliner: NARS black moon & Bobby Brown creamy eye pencil in black 5

Eyeshadow primer/base: Urban Decay Primer Potion

Eyelash curler: Luckly i have naturally curlly lashes.

Mascara: I tried a lot this year but the one that I keep coming back to is Maybelline Great Lash blackest black!

Lipstick: MAC Hue; Dressmaker, Dressmaker; Creme in your Coffee; Girl About Town

Lipgloss: MAC Boy Bait; Richer, Lusher (really good with Dressmaker, Dressmaker & Hue); Get Rich Quick (great for the fall date nights); Do It Up & Funtabulous (both could be possible New Year's Eve dazzleglasses, just don't know yet. Need to find a nice lipstick to work with Funtabulous.)

Nail polish: China Glaze in Shocking Pink (neon) perfect for the summer, Coconut Kiss perfect for the feet in the beginning of fall.

Body

Shower gel/soap: Bath and Body Works Velvet Tuberose Shower gel

Body lotion/cream: Nivea Smooth Sensation & Essentially Enriched Lotion; Velvet Tuberose Body Lotion; Victoria's Secret Violet & Jasmine Hydrating Body Lotion.

Body exfoliator:

Hand cream: Nivea pocket hand creme; Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy Cream

Lip balm/treatment: Blistex in the blue container that's my bible. I live and die for this stuff, it's my crack. In fact if there was a study that came out saying that crack was found it this stuff I wouldn't be surprised and I wouldn't stop using it....that's our little sercet.

Perfume: I'm back to being a preppy Ralph Lauren Bitty, I'm back in love with my Ralph Lauren Romance, and Style for the winter. I tried to stop being snobby but I just can't do it. I LIVE for that fragence, boyfriend even tried to break the cycle with D&G light blue. While that's great, I still can't seem to break the cycle. And not to get on another rant but it's one thing for us ladies to buy our dudes a fragence but it is quite another for them to do the same. Esp. if its a new fragence, fragences say a lot about a woman.

Face

Cleanser: Clinique Rinse-Off Foam; I'm a lucky bitty I've always had clear skin just by nature. I usually don't wash with anything but my soap (I live for Dial) and that keeps me fresh. But when I'm feeling jazzy I break out the Rinse-Off Foam so i feel like im really doing some shit.

Toner/lotion: Olay Refreshing Toner

Moisturizer: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Makeup remover: MAC Facial Cleansing Towelettes

Hey dolls,

So if your like me you live your life with a soundtrack in the back. Well, Jamie Foxx has put out a video to one of the songs on my soundtrack right now. His song "Fall For Your Type" was long said via the underground to actually have been Drakes but I guess Jamie cleared that up.
